OUR STORY
The Beginning
1937
Our history begins in 1937 in the city of Fullerton, California, where VAL VITA was founded, a company that in 1941 became the largest canned food producer in the United States.
1956
In 1956 Val Vita moved to the city of Ensenada in Baja California Mexico, and became an added line of products for the Pacific Fishing Company. In the following decades the brand grew to be the leader of the Tomato Sauce Category in Baja California Mexico.
1990's
This growth and popularity gained the attention of the Mexican national beverage company Jugo’s del Valle. Jugo’s del Valle then acquired Val Vita and took the brand to new levels in terms of innovation and high-quality packaging presentations.
2009
In 2009 VAL VITA, was acquired by Alimentos y Salsas de Mexico, which positioned it as the favorite tomato sauce in all of Northern Mexico.
2019
VAL VITA, makes its Pouch packaging debut in California and launches its new 3.7 oz presentation.
2020
VAL VITA, launches its new line of Tomato Sauces:
